Tondra Loder-Jackson spoke on a panel entitled “Closing the Black Male Achievement Gap” following the film screening of The American Promise. This was part of a year-long film and discussion series focused on four issues of great importance to Birmingham (http://www.birmingham365.org/web_services/calendar/271/). Other panel members were from Growing Kings, UAB BMEN, and Woodlawn Foundation.
