The officers and membership of the Sept 1, 2021 - Aug 31, 2022 Faculty Senate has been determined, based on the nominations and votes made by the faculty. Access the website by reading the important access instructions; click on the link in Meeting Agendas, Minutes, and Other Documents; then click on Senate Meetings in left nav bar, then the Rosters tab.

Faculty are elected to serve on staggered two-year terms. The change in membership will occur on September 1. The members of the 2020-2021 Faculty Senate will meet on May 11, June 8, and August 10 (no meeting in July). The 2021-2022 Faculty Senate membership will begin its term on September 1 and have its first meeting on September 14. The 2021-2022 Faculty Senate will be made up of newly elected members and members who are in the second year of their term.

On September 1 (the term change-over date), the Faculty Senate roster page will be updated and will reflect the new 2021-2022 membership, including links to each member’s bio sketch and email address.

If a seat becomes vacant during the term, then the remaining Senate members, from the same elections year, will all move up one seat, based on number of votes received in the election, and the vacant Alternate Senator seat will be offered to the 1st runner-up. If he/she is unavailable, then the seat will be offered to the 2nd runner-up and so on. Preliminary orientation for new Faculty Senate members will start at the May 11 Senate meeting. Full orientation will occur sometime in late August, with the term beginning on September 1.
