All faculty who have a primary appointment as "faculty," and, are eligible for the Teachers Retirement System, and, are available to attend Senate meetings in person, are eligible to serve as Senators. Nominations are being accepted on the Faculty Senate Nominations webpage https://go.uab.edu/SenateNominations now through end of Thursday, March 12th.

Nominations are being taken for Faculty Senate Chair-elect, Associate Chair of the Faculty Senate, and Senators for every school/college/the libraries. Election results will be announced in late-April. The new Faculty Senate term will begin in September.
