A UAB pedestrian bridge at night, an illuminated lamp in the middle, under a violet and pink sky. What is meant by “faculty credentialing?”

Per SACSCOC Standard 6.2.a (Faculty Qualifications), “For each of its educational programs, the institution justifies and documents the qualifications of its faculty members.”

How long do I have to keep my classroom records?

The retention of all records is covered by UAB’s Records Retention Policy, a specific schedule for various materials.

What can we publish and put on our websites about SACSCOC accreditation?

The University of Alabama at Birmingham also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
