Favorite part of the program/UAB or something you love about it: My resident buds. 
Favorite rotation and why: I just love being in the general ORs. 
My neighborhood and why I like it: Fultondale (chapel hill neighborhood). Cheap, newish housing, safe neighborhoods, north of Birmingham (avoids traffic).
Best places for soaking up the local culture: Homewood, Mountain Brook.  
Favorite spots for date night: Botanical gardens with dinner at Brick and Tin.
Favorite places to take guests: Back40, Red Mountain Park, Moss Rock, Oak Mountain State Park.  
Best park, trail, or golf course/Where I take in the scenic views: Oak Mountain.  
Why I like Birmingham: The warmth, the food, great training, good people.
