As a participant in a nominal group session, you would be one of up to 10 participants in a single, structured online conference call session.The goal of the discussions are briefly described below.
Everyone in the group will be invited to offer their perspectives and opinions on a specific healthcare issue. Your contributions will be entirely voluntary. Calls may be recorded so that researchers can access exact wording and\or illustrative quotes. Recordings are deleted at the end of each study and no contribution will be matched to an individual participant. All information that you provide for any study will be kept confidential to the extent allowed by law.
You may opt to discontinue participation at any point in time and withdrawal will have no impact on your relationship with UAB Division of Continuing Medical Education or the institution itself. Most research projects provide an honorarium for participation.

Requirement: Must be a Pulmonologist practicing in the U.S.
Length of Session: 90 minutes
Physicians will participate in a discussion group session to help identify issues and barriers to effectively treating patients who have ideopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Participants will need access to a computer and phone in order to log on to a website and join a conference call simultaneously.
