The 2015 UAB School of Medicine Art Show will be on display at the Edge of Chaos, on the fourth floor of the Lister Hill Library of the Health Sciences, 1700 University Blvd., from March 17 to May 15, 2015. An opening reception will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17 at the Edge of Chaos to recognize the winners. The reception will feature a silent auction to benefit VSA Alabama, the state organization providing art opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
The show will consist of artwork from students, residents, fellows and faculty of the School of Medicine. The works are judged by a panel of UAB faculty, staff and students. The top three winners receive cash prizes, and all entries are on display.
The show is hosted by the Alabama Alpha Chapter of Alpha Omega Alpha and the Alabama Museum of the Health Sciences.
