With the support from the Pan American Health Organization, this network includes nurses and midwives from every country in Latin America, the United States, and Spain.  The UAB PAHO/WHO Collaborating Center on International Nursing facilitates the work of this network, and currently Dr. Lynda Wilson serves as the Network Vice-Coordinator.  The members of the network meet “virtually” through the use of Internet chat technology.  The focus of the network is to promote optimal child health nursing by providing a forum for sharing ideas and information about best practice in child health nursing.  Further information about the work of this Network can be found in an article published in Pediatric Nursing in March 2008
