The twenty-plus faculty of the UAB Department of Radiation Oncology are a highly-trained, board certified where appropriate, group of professionals that strive to practice at the pinnacle of their professions. These physicians, physicists, and radiobiologists work to provide clinical care, research, and education, and in many cases, all three. Our faculty members hold MD and/or PhD degrees in nearly cases, with one masters-prepared physicist faculty.
