Paustian is new QEP director

pamela pastian web Pamela Paustian, Ph.D., associate professor in the School of Health Professions, has been selected as the director for UAB's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). The QEP, "Learning in a Team Environment," will advance education across the university by teaching students to succeed in all appropriate roles of a team and to use these skills to improve student learning.

Paustian, who joined UAB in 2001, has been director of the Health Care Management program and associate chair of Academic Operations in the Department of Health Services Administration.

She has been the recipient of the UAB President's Award for Excellence in Teaching, the School of Health Professions Excellence in Teaching Award, the School of Health Professions Joseph F. Volker Award Outstanding Faculty Award and the UAB Faculty Senate Distinguished Service Award.
