The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry Doctoral Convocation and Hooding Ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, May 17 at the Alys Robinson Stephens Performance Center. The graduate's families and friends will join the faculty and staff to recognize the accomplishments of the class of 2010 and to celebrate their achievements.
Forty-one students will receive their Doctor of Optometry degrees, 26 students have achieved a 3.2 GPA or higher, entitling them to become members of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.
