The Dean’s Office is the administrative center of the UAB School of Health Professions.
Our offices house the dean, the associate and assistant deans, as well as all staff charged with supporting the School’s vision and mission. Our team is entrusted to administer Academic and Faculty Affairs; Student Services and Advising; External Relations; and the Fiscal and Administrative responsibilities of the School and our five departments.
We are supported by the Dean's Advisory Board – a group of highly experienced business and community leaders from across the U.S. who are drawn from a wide variety of backgrounds that mirror the diversity of our School – as well as our Junior Advisory Board – a group of dedicated young alumni who are committed to connecting and engaging the SHP family.
Together, we care deeply about our students, alumni, faculty and staff; we value the complexities of a diverse environment; we empower all to become vital members of the greater Birmingham community; and we support learning whether in a traditional classroom or an online setting or simply learning from or about one another.
