My general research interests are in plant-based diets for weight maintenance and metabolic flexibility.

What made you decide to pursue a PhD?

In a nutshell, I have chosen to pursue a Ph.D. because I would like to be able to ask a question and have the freedom to answer it. The knowledge gains earned through the PhD program provide tremendous opportunities and advancement for personal growth.

Any special interests, hobbies, or fun facts?

I enjoy playing the piano, hiking, cooking, and creative writing.
