UAB Student Affairs and Veteran Services are honoring veterans in the community for the inaugural Veterans Day 5K. Join us in supporting our veteran and active-duty students on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 8 a.m. at the UAB Mini Park. Attendees are encouraged to participate their way: run, stroll, wheel, or jog, this event is for everyone!

Proceeds from the 5K directly support the UAB Veteran Relief Fund. This award provides assistance to UAB veteran and active duty students regarding housing, healthcare, textbooks, and other necessities that students need in order to be successful.

Registration is currently open and available to all UAB staff, faculty, students, and community members! Pricing ranges from $10, $15, and $30 depending on which category participants fall under. All 5K contenders will receive an event t-shirt and finisher medal in their race pack.
