Services

UAB Student Health Services is here to serve your primary care and mental health needs. We provide care for a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, as well as preventative care, school physicals and minor procedures. We also offer vaccinations and TB testing with no appointment needed for either. SHS has walk-in hours for acute problems and appointments are generally available same day or within twenty-four hours. We do not collect co-pays or bill insurance for office visits. All current UAB students may be seen at SHS.
