  • Faculty can find inspiration and advice in new Using AI in the Classroom workshops
    Four workshops this spring will discuss academic integrity concerns, share the experiences of teaching faculty, reimagine learning with AI, and offer help redesigning assignments or entire courses. Presenter Meagan Malone, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of English, explains how her classroom approach has changed since the first days of generative AI in this article.
  • GenAI is changing how professors teach writing. This faculty member has built a place to talk about “the conundrums that plague me.”
    Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT pose all kinds of questions for the future of writing instruction. Meagan Malone, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of English, has launched a website and blog called Composing in the Age of GenAI to share ideas and resources and spark conversations with others in the field.
  • A professor shows future lawyers how to put AI in its place
    Brandon Blankenship, J.D., teaching assistant professor and director of the Pre-Law Program in the J. Frank Barefield, Jr. Department of Criminal Justice, shares interactive exercises he uses in the classroom, and how he is using AI in a project to identify suspected bias in judicial decision-making.
