Waltina Josephat joined the IHR on January 3rd as our Program Coordinator II. She comes to us from the School of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Disease where she was an Administrative Associate for six years providing support to multiple of their Faculty and Administrative staff. Waltina specializes in administrative technology and is fluent in using progressive systems and applications, including mass communication procedures and organizational apps. She helps to hold others accountable by exemplifying integrity while providing the highest service to others and being innovative for the company. Waltina holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Administration and Community Service degree in addition to a paralegal certificate. Both were obtained at Samford University. She will take the reins from Dr. Courtney Andrews as a senior blog editor and community liaison at the IHR. When Waltina is not busy with her work at the IHR, she enjoys baking, entertaining her friends, spending quality time with her family, and performing various community services.
