Lori Bateman (PhD 2014) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine.
She is also an Associate Scientist in the Minority Health & Health Equity Research Center and the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB.
Dr. Bateman specializes in community-based participatory research on nutrition, health promotion, and bioethics. She leads or co-leads externally funded research focusing on health disparities and COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy.
