Will the program accept an old GRE or MAT score?

Scores for tests taken more than 5 years ago can be considered. Students with old test scores should first contact Dr. Spezzini ( If this score is already on file at UAB from an earlier graduate degree program, Dr. Spezzini will seek access to the score report and request a waiver to the 5-year recency limit. If this score are not already on file at UAB, prospective students should scan their score report and send it as an email attachment to Dr. Spezzini. NOTE: Old test scores can be accepted only if they meet the minimum score required for admission to the Teacher Leader EdS program.

What is the fastest way to obtain a new test score?

The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is given several times a week at UAB's testing center. Students can usually take it within just a few days of registering.
