Graduate Admissions

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, effective on April 17th, 2020, the UAB School of Education is waiving the GRE and MAT as a mandatory requirement for applications to all graduate programs in the UAB School of Education until January 2021. Applicants may submit GRE or MAT scores for consideration, but these scores are not required. This policy is consistent with the current UAB Graduate School policy. Individuals interested in more information about applying should reach out to the contact person for the graduate program in which they are interested.

Students applying for master's, educational specialist, doctoral, or certificate programs within the School of Education must apply through the UAB Graduate School.

Graduate admissions requirements and deadlines vary by program.
