Charles Hines, a 2019 graduate, serves as a health and safety officer with the City of Mobile Fire and Rescue Department. Shortly after graduating from the program at the end of 2019, he had an opportunity to put his coursework into action during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hines developed a new sanitation process for area ambulances to reduce risk of spreading the virus and the process was adopted by other departments throughout the state of Alabama. Hines was featured in an interview with Fox 10 in Mobile, AL.
