Executive Director
Catherine Crowe spent five years in private practice in the fields of employment and employment-based immigration law prior to joining UAB. She served as Director of ISSS/RO/DSO from 2016-2022 before becoming Executive Director of IFSIS and is a former NAFSA Region VII KCISSS Liaison. Catherine is a member of both the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the International Medical Graduate Taskforce and has served as Chair of the NAFSA Healthcare Institution Interest Group since September 2021. She is a graduate of NAFSA Academy 14. Catherine earned her Bachelor's in History from Harvard, her Master's in the History of International Relations from the London School of Economics, and her JD from the University of Alabama.
