Rachael is a senior Biomedical Sciences major with minors in Chemistry, Math and Spanish. She is also a member of the School of Healthcare Professions Honors Program. Under the supervision of UAB physician scientist Dr. Tipple, she has been performing neonatal research with a focus on Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD). Her project focuses on treatment for BPD induced respiratory inflammation. After graduation, she plans on attending medical school and pursuing a career in research medicine.
