Baraa Hijaz is a sophomore neuroscience major with an aspiration of pursuing a combined degree of medicine and neuroscience, with goals of progressing the field through research, medical practice, and professorship. Currently, Baraa is conducing research in the Department of Neurology under the mentorship of Dr. Laura Volipeclli-Daley, where treatments for Parkinson's Disease are being developed. Outside of school, Baraa enjoys running, spending time at the recreational center, and creating stop-motion animation short films.
