Hello, my name is Ben Boros. I'm a senior, graduating in April with a B.S. in neuroscience and a chemistry minor. Broadly, I am interested in the cellular and molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration or neuropsychiatric disease. I work with Dr. Jeremy Herskowitz in the Department of Neurology to characterize synaptic or neuronal dysregulation in post-mortem Alzheimer's disease or in model systems of disease. After graduation, I hope to enter a MD-PhD program to receive both medical and research training. In my free time, I enjoy sleeping, reading, lifting, music, soccer, and biking.
