To help better communicate with the campus community, UAB IT is updating the way it notifies users when their BlazerID password is “fuzzed,” or invalidated.

Currently, users receive an email when their BlazerID is fuzzed — but users may not receive the email if their password has changed.

To improve the user experience, UAB IT has updated the process and will now notify users via text message, using the phone numbers registered within the UAB B-Alert system. To update your mobile number, click here.
