Microsoft makes it easier to focus your Outlook app further with the feature Favorites.

Favorites can include people, groups and folders. With Favorites turned on, you can view messages sent only from those groups instead of having to scroll through an entire inbox.

On the left side of the app, users can access those favorited with a simple click. Any messages sent between you and that person will pull up. This feature can help keep you up to date with responses.

Want notifications for your favorites? Open up your app and select the gear icon. You can update your notifications from there to receive popups from only your favorites.

“Using 'Favorites' in the Outlook mobile client allows me to disable notifications for incoming emails but choose to still be notified when I receive an email from someone in my 'Favorites' list,” said Steven Johnson, Systems Analyst Architect for UAB. “I get a lot of emails throughout the day, so that helps me tremendously.”

Tired of favorites? You can turn them off with the tap of a button. Turn them on and off at your convenience.

Outlook is available to download for iOS and Android, or can be accessed on a desktop.
