The UAB Department of Family and Community Medicine is proud to offer full-spectrum family medicine residency training through the Cahaba-UAB Family Medicine Residency Program, which is a 12-12-12 program offering 2 tracks (Urban Underserved 7-7-7 and Rural 5-5-5). This program aims to develop physicians who care for rural underserved, urban underserved, and other vulnerable populations, while also developing future leaders and scholars in family and community medicine.
