Four University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Neurosurgery faculty and staff members are among those celebrating at least 5 years of service with UAB.
The annual UAB Medicine Service Awards were created to honor employees for their years of dedication and commend their invaluable contributions across the institution. Every employee contributes significantly to addressing the evolving needs of the Birmingham community and beyond, and that is greatly appreciated.
Congratulations to the Department of Neurosurgery recipients whose service through 2023 ranged from 5 to 20 years:
- Associate Professor Nicole Bentley, M.D. – 5 years
- Executive Administrator Donna Bailer, J.D., LL.M – 10 years
- Professor Curtis Rozzelle, M.D. – 15 years
- Professor M.R. Chambers, DVM, M.D. – 20 years
A Service Awards luncheon honoring employees who have reached a service milestone of 20 or more years will be held on April 3, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at the UAB Hilton.
