Selwyn M. Vickers, M.D., FACS, senior vice president for Medicine and dean of the UAB School of Medicine, will give his annual State of the School of Medicine address from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, in the Margaret Cameron Spain Auditorium.
Vickers will highlight successes from the past year that illustrate school’s foundation of excellence across its broad mission areas in medical and science education, scientific and clinical research, and patient care. The speech will be followed by a time for questions.
The address will be streamed live at www.uab.edu/medicine/sots beginning at noon. A limited number of lunches will be provided.
