The Marnix E. Heersink Institute for Biomedical Innovation held a Grand Rounds presentation with speaker George J. Netto, M.D., Robert and Ruth Anderson Endowed Chair, UAB Department of Pathology, on April 13, 2023.
Netto accepted his position with the Department of Pathology in 2016 and has been an innovative leader. In 2022, his work with D-TECH (Disruptive Technology Empowering Precision Health) became one of four new Heersink School of Medicine focus areas. The goal of D-TECH is to deliver the most effective and efficient value-based health care.
