Unlocking conflict resolution during the next Staff Grand Rounds

Her talk, “Addressing Conflicts: Triage in the Workplace,” is Tuesday, April 30 at noon and will be held on Zoom. Horvath will share her expertise and offer valuable tools for managing conflicts in the workplace. Register here.

What is an Ombudsperson?

An Ombudsperson is an impartial and confidential resource available to members of an organization. They specialize in conflict resolution, providing a safe space for individuals to voice concerns and explore options for resolution. They discuss workplace issues, academic concerns, issues relating to administrative paperwork and processes, and explanations and interpretations of policies and procedures, among other issues.

Horvath brings a wealth of experience to her role.

With a background in higher education spanning various prestigious institutions, including Florida International University, Cornell University, and Truman State University, she has honed her expertise in conflict management and resolution. She holds a Bachelor of Science in History, a Juris Doctor, and a Master of Arts in Higher Education/Student Personnel.
