UAB Hospital interim Chief Nursing Officer Terri Poe has been selected to serve as the hospital’s chief nursing officer and senior associate vice president. The appointment, effective August 1, 2014 was made by Anthony Patterson, senior vice president for Inpatient Services at UAB Hospital. Patterson noted that during Poe’s time as the interim CNO, “she performed in an outstanding manner as the nursing leader and became a valued member of the senior leadership team for UAB Hospital.” He added that since joining UAB in 2009, “Terri has been an integral part of nursing leadership and the overall organization. Her knowledge, leadership and experience will be invaluable as we continue to drive excellence in all we do.”
