Now OpenThe University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Neurosurgery has relocated its Neurosurgery Clinic at Greystone to a new space at One Inverness Center, expanding access to specialized care for patients across central Alabama.

The Neurosurgery Inverness Clinic is now open at 1 Inverness Center Parkway, Suite 100, Hoover, AL 35242. The move supports UAB’s ongoing efforts to enhance convenience, improve the patient experience and bring high-quality subspecialty care closer to growing communities.

The clinic provides advanced evaluation and triage for a wide range of neurosurgical conditions, offering access to the latest diagnostic techniques and treatment pathways.

Available services include assessment and pre-operative evaluations for:

  • Spine and spinal cord disorders
  • Tumors of the spinal cord and spinal column
  • Spinal stabilization and fusion
  • Minimally invasive spine procedures
  • Brain tumors
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Stenosis
  • Spondylolisthesis
  • Other conditions affecting the brain and spine

At the new location, patients will continue receiving care from Kristen Betts, CRNP, and Daryl Flanagan, PA-C, who specialize in neurosurgical evaluation and care coordination.

This relocation aligns with UAB Medicine’s broader strategy to expand community-based specialty care, following other recent clinic launches in the Birmingham metro area and the continued growth of services along Highway 280 and its surrounding regions.

With the opening of the Neurosurgery Inverness Clinic, patients benefit from easier access, improved parking and a centralized environment designed to support neurosurgical care.
