The University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Neurosurgery is pleased to welcome Marlon Jeyapaul as a healthcare management intern.

Jeyapaul is a senior at UAB pursuing an undergraduate degree in healthcare management and is set to graduate in 2026. He brings experience in both clinical support and administrative operations, providing a strong foundation for his work within the department.

During his internship, Jeyapaul will work directly under Donna Bailer, JD, LLM, executive administrator for the Department of Neurosurgery, gaining hands-on experience in healthcare administration and departmental operations.

After graduation, Jeyapaul hopes to lead healthcare operations and quality-improvement initiatives focused on enhancing patient care efficiency and organizational effectiveness.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Jeyapaul spent most of his life there before coming to UAB. Outside of academics, he enjoys playing soccer and cooking.
