The team was recognized for its project, JOY PEDS: Joint Optimization for Your Pediatric Experience and Discharge Satisfaction, which highlights the residents’ commitment to advancing quality improvement and enhancing the patient and family experience.

The project was completed under the mentorship of Caroline Lambert, M.D., instructor in the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine, whose guidance helped support the team’s efforts throughout the initiative.

The Outstanding Resident Quality Improvement Project Award recognizes residents whose work demonstrates innovation, collaboration and a dedication to improving patient care through quality improvement initiatives.

Congratulations to Southall, Raicevic, Turley, Huynh and Wolff on this well-deserved recognition and thank you for your contributions to advancing quality improvement in pediatric care.
