The University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Pediatrics is proud to announce that Samantha Weaver, DNP, CRNP, assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Neurology, has been appointed co-director of Children’s of Alabama’s Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Clinic.

In this role, Weaver will join Bradley Troxler, M.D., medical director of the Children’s of Alabama MDA Clinic and professor in the Division of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, in providing clinical and strategic leadership for the program. Together, they will continue advancing comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for children and families affected by neuromuscular disorders.

The Department of Pediatrics congratulates Weaver on this appointment and looks forward to the continued growth and impact of the MDA Clinic under shared leadership.
