Case Log: This portion of the program is designed to allow residents to log their robotic cases in order to continuously track their clinical experience. The database will serve also as a training record which will detail the following:
- Procedure date
- Name of the procedure (CPT code)
- Time spent as console surgeon
- Time spent as patient side assistant
This case log database will allow the residency director to access and monitor all relevant case information in one repository.
Instructions

Log-on to DaVinci Surgery Community Website using your username and password

Select “Groups" from the menu

Select “Residents”

You will see the Case Log Database

In the box entitled “Search Entries” enter your last name and click “Apply”

Click on “Procedure Log”

Enter your unique user name and password

Fill-in all fields

Click “Submit Form” to log case

Repeat steps for all cases as required

After logging five cases, return to the “Residency Training Program.” Under the “Case Log” folder, click on the “Evaluation—Module Three” link.

Complete the evaluation and submit to the Residency Education Coordinator
