Program Goal
To develop the OBGYN resident’s knowledge and skills to effectively treat patients in the ambulatory clinic.
Objectives
By the end of the curriculum, residents will be able to:
- Identify ambulatory topics in gynecology.
- Identify and discuss primary care and ambulatory gynecology topics identified in the 9th Edition of CREOG Educational Objectives as essential for the training of OB/GYN residents.
- Identify the different sources of medical literature available to residents on ambulatory topics.
- Demonstrate life-long learning and evidence-based practice skills.
- Evaluate new technology and medications critically using the medical literature.
