Server Support
The Department owns its servers. These servers are used for Departmental applications ranging from administrative functions to research data processing to data warehousing for Departmental data needs. The HSIS IT maintains 10 OBGYN virtual servers – monitoring and patching. 7 OBGYN servers are solely maintained by the IT team - this includes monitoring performance of servers, updating/upgrading server software, software patching, evaluating processing needs, and determining server requirements to meet those needs.
