Program Director II, UWIRC

Racheal started with the Center for Palliative and Supportive Care in October 2023 as a Program Director of UWIRC. Previously, she worked as a Program Manager with UAB’s Office of Sponsored Programs, and she also has experience at UAB’s School of Nursing and the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurobiology.

Racheal has been at UAB either studying or working since 2007 – so she is a lifelong Blazer! Her undergraduate degree is in Social Psychology, and she recently graduated with an MBA from the Collat School of Business.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, playing board games, and spending time with friends and family. She and her husband live in Hoover, AL, with their two cats, Astra and Drama.
