Interests

Dr. Black is one of the members of the division that focuses on clinical service and education in both the community based hospitals and at Children’s of Alabama. Her past research interest was in immunology, specifically the Th17 cell, and infectious disease. She is the current medical director at Grandview Medical Center NICU, and she has an interest in patient safety and now a project leader for quality improvement initiatives in the NICU at Children’s of Alabama.
