    Why UAB?
    UAB's educational and research programs are second to none. The Linac-based SRS and SBRT program, Ethos adaptive platform, and Varian ProBeam proton system not only provide excellent patient care but are also pretty attractive to me as a resident. Having such a wonderful opportunity to learn cutting-edge technologies will be a wonderful experience. Also, the people at UAB are passionate, dedicated, and supportive. I am proud to be a part of this excellent community.

    I chose UAB for its excellent extensive clinical exposure, robust research opportunities, and the dedicated, experienced faculty committed to resident growth and education. UAB’s state-of-the-art facilities—such as the Linac-based SRS and SBRT and Ethos Adaptive Platform—collectively elevate its capacity to deliver high-quality, comprehensive oncology care while providing residents with exceptional training and research opportunities. During my residency interview, I found myself accessing the program as much as they were evaluating me. I felt an immediate sense of belonging, a positive vibe/energy, as if I already knew the people there. It was evident that the faculty is supportive, passionate, and dedicated. I am truly proud to be a part of this exceptional community.
