Presenting is an important aspect of the NEURAL Conference. Poster presentations are open to ALL neuroscience trainees. Oral presentations will be selected from neuroscience graduate PhD trainees only.

Requirements:

• Abstracts must be neuroscience-related.
• Abstract bodies should be no longer than 250 words and include: Title; Author list; Introduction; Materials & Methods; Results; Conclusion. Please use Microsoft Word; Arial 11pt, single spaced.
• The abstract submission deadline for both NON-UAB trainees and UAB trainees is April 3, 2026.
• Applicants will be notified by April 17 if their abstract has been selected for oral or poster presentation.
• Posters should fit on a poster board that is 4'x8' (4 feet high by 8 feet wide).
• Oral presentations will be a total of 20 minutes in length. (10-12 minutes science and slides, 8-10 minutes for questions/commentary).
