UAB Roadmap Scholars who desire to gain leadership experience and to “take ownership” of their Program may take advantage of the opportunity to serve as an officer on the RMS Student Executive Board. The Program Directors encourage the Scholars to participate by nominating their colleagues for positions. The RMS Student Executive Board accepts nominations for the leadership positions and holds an election each September. The RMS Student Executive Board is responsible for providing input to the RMS Directors and Administration for organizing RMS activities, academic and non-academic, on behalf of the larger RMS student body. These Roadmap Scholars will have an opportunity to improve RMS and develop their own vision and leadership skills.
