Why UAB: When selecting a fellowship, I was seeking a program that would best prepare me for the next step of my career after training. Within a few months of fellowship, I have realized that this program features not only a high case volume but also great case complexity that spans the full scope of Vascular Surgery from both open and endovascular standpoints.
UAB has excellent faculty and staff along with unrivaled resources that enables some of the most complex patients in the Southeast to be treated. My co-fellows, residents, and Vascular faculty and staff are a great group of people to be around especially during the long work days. In all, I truly feel that I’ll be exceptionally prepared for any job I choose to pursue after my fellowship due to my training at UAB.
