Vascular Surgery Integrated Resident
Medical School: UAB Heersink School of Medicine
Why UAB: I chose UAB due to both the high volume and high complexity of the cases performed at this institution. The diversity of cases and high volume of both Endovascular and open surgical procedures are unmatched across the country.
Additionally, the congeniality of both the faculty as well as the resident and fellows makes for a unique place to train. The program encourages residents toward all endeavors both clinical and research aiming to provide for an optimal training paradigm no matter the trainee's ultimate career goal.
