Robert Russell, M.D., was recently chosen to represent UAB at the University of Florida next year, as part of the inaugural UAB/UF Associate Professor Faculty Exchange Program.

Through the program, Russell will visit the UF Department of Surgery in Gainesville, Florida, while UAB hosts a faculty representative from UF.

Russell works as an associate professor in the Division of Pediatric Surgery and serves as director of Children’s of Alabama’s trauma program.
