Drs. Chen, Fazendin, Lindeman and RamonellChair of the Department of Surgery Herbert Chen, M.D., FACS, as well as Associate Professor in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Pallavi Iyer, M.D., are co-editors of a book dedicated to the care of children with thyroid and parathyroid disorders.

The 16 chapter-book is divided into two sections: thyroid and parathyroid, discussing both common and rare disorders along with medical treatments and surgical techniques.

In addition to Chen serving as an editor and author, two other Division of Breast and Endocrine Surgery faculty as well as one trainee are contributing authors for this book: Jessica Fazendin, M.D.; Brenessa Lindeman, M.D., MEHP; and Kimberly Ramonell, M.D. To see an inclusive listing of all UAB faculty involved, click here.
