The UAB Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship Program was established in 2003 and offers advanced training in a broad range of surgical disciplines. Her research interests include health disparities and access to healthcare. Mustian is extremely honored for this opportunity to increase her skills as a surgeon.

“I am very excited to have matched with the MIS fellowship at a prestigious surgical training program like UAB,” Mustian said. “I believe the MIS faculty will provide me with the skillset needed to continue on the path of academic surgery. I am looking forward to joining the fellowship program in the summer of 2023.”
